"The private, un-crowded safe beach is the main reason we keep our home here in Middlesex and that must be maintained. MICHAEL AMBROSE
14 & 16 Dune Road, 8 Short Road |
| Michael and his wife, Peg, have owned property in Middlesex Beach since 1999. They currently own two houses, one on the ocean and one in the pines. Michael is retired from being a lawyer and also as an owner and CEO of a medium sized franchisor. Michael and Peg spend about half of their time in Middlesex year 'round. Their other residence is in suburban Philadelphia. Michael believes that Middlesex Beach is a very special place, and that the skills of management, administration, and persuasion that he possess could be put to good use for the benefit of this Community. Michael says that: “It should come as no surprise to anyone that I take a keen interest in our beach. We must do everything reasonably possible to protect, care for, and strengthen the beach at every opportunity. And because we also own a house on the west side of Route 1 in the Pines, I am also very sensitive to issues that affect those properties as well. I also believe that too often there exists the reality or at the very least, the perception of an adversarial relationship between the Middlesex Beach Board of Directors and the Community. This is wrong, and if I were on the Board, I would do all that I could within the Board and out in the Community to change that. We must all recognize that our common interests in keeping Middlesex Beach a special and dynamic place outweigh any "us versus them" attitude.” |
