To all members of Middlesex Beach ---
My deepest gratitude to all; particularly the board and those people who worked so hard in putting together the great 20th year picnic in my honor.
The plaque and pictures given to me will be hung in the most prominent place in our home that I can find for them.
Once again, you proved just how special a place Middlesex Beach really is.
My best wishes to all,
Geof Myers, Commander Middlesex Beach Patrol

Ode to Mr. Myers
(to the tune of The Oscar Meyer Song)
I'm glad to be a Middlesex Junior Lifeguard
To learn about the safey of the Sea
We run and swim and learn to use our buoys
So we can be here 20 years like he.
Three days a week we're out here running
And learnign our flags and semaphore
So when we are of age to be real lifeguards
We'll sit up in our chairs and watch our shore
Middlesex is a beach to be proud of
It's clean and safe for all our families
Thanks to Mr. Myers as our leader
We're the Number One Community
Second Ode to Mr. Myers
(to the tune of another Oscar Meyer Song)
Our commander has a first name
It's G-E-O-F-F
Our commander has a second name
It's M-Y-E-R-S
He watches our beach everyday
And if you ask us why, we'll say
Mr. Myers has a way with safety on our beach each day
