MBA Beach Walkway Areas
Since 2005, we have been steadily working on improving the beach walkways by replacing the wooden parts
with paver stones, which require virtually no maintenance, and do not give off splinters.
Unfortunately, DNREC regulations limit how close to the dunes these can extend.
Evergreen Road
Trashcan box, fencing and pavers installed 2006.
Footwash installed spring 2003; renovated summer 2007.
6' wide clay based ramp installed for beach access by people and authorized vehicles spring 2008 after MBA participated in the area'sbeach replenishment and storm abatement project.
Possibly a decent bicycle rack can be added spring 2009.

Errett Road
Fencing installed spring 2008; trashcan box installed Fall 2008.
Pavers tentatively scheduled for Spring 2009.
Note: dune crossing and stairs are in horrible condition because they always survived storms and haven't needed to be rebuilt since early 1990's(?).
Steps still bear remnants of paint that was on each community walkway for easy identification-Errett was red...
Possibly a decent bicycle rack can be added spring 2009.
