The MBA Board of Directors is composed of 8 elected members and the Past President.
As is stated in our Certificate of Incorporation,
Board members must be either a property owner, adult family members of a property owner, or representative of an articial entity (LLC, etc) that owns a property.
At the End of Summer Community meeting, the MBA elects for 4 Board Members to 2 year terms.
The new Board members then elect the Officers to 1 year terms.
(The President's terms is limited to 2 consecutive years; there are no other limits on officers or Board members.)
At this time, incumbents Mary Byrd and Lindy Cohee have indicated they are willing to serve again.
Michael Ambrose and Bob Aberbach will be stepping down from the Board when their terms expire on September 5, 2010.
Community Members Craig Kellerman (34 Bridge), Greg Pichler (20 Dune) and Ellen Throop (14 Errett) have expressed a desire to serve.
Biographies of all the candidates will be mailed out with the meeting notice by August 20, as is required by our Bylaws.

Nominations may be made from the floor of the Community Meeting.
Additionally, eligible candidates may inform the President in writing of their desire to be nominated at any time prior to the meeting.
