  • 2010 SPRING CLEANUP/BULK TRASH PICKUP:

The 2010 Spring Cleanup is currently scheduled for Monday, May 10.
As usual, this will be done in 2 phases: bulk pickup and brush pickup
    Brush Pickup

Any loose brush should be placed near the street for the chipper truck by Monday, May 10. MBA chipping will NOT include large trees.

Simply place your material in easy to manage piles by the street, and back from the paved roadway. Note that the chipper cannot handle tree stumps.

If you miss the brush pickup, all brush must be cut into 4’ lengths and bundled for removal by Allied Waste. They will take BUNDLED brush at any time of year.

Occasionally after major storms, the MBA will schedule a separate brush pickup. If such a pickup is scheduled, this info will be prominently posted on out website.
    Bulk Pickup

Allied Waste will be doing a bulk trash pickup that week. Any Spring Cleanup material should be placed near the street on your own property. This debris should be placed near your trashcan box, and SEPARATE from any brush pile.

ANY MATERIAL PLACED AT THE ROADSIDE AFTER THE PICKUPS ARE COMPLETED WILL BE REMOVED AT COST TO THE PROPERTY OWNER, so please make sure that everything is ready to be picked up at the appropriate time. This applies all year around. Occasionally, community-wide cleanups are announced and held after major storms.

Throughout the year, they will take pretty much anything you can fit into a trash can (assuming they can lift it). Again, please note that any trash that Allied Waste does not take will be removed AT COST TO THE PROPERTY OWNER.

Items that will NOT be collected include:
      Automobile batteries                     Tires
Oil and petroleum products        Rocks, bricks, dirt
      Construction Debris                     Tree stumps
      Flammable/hazardous materials, including paint
Appliances containing CFC/freon gas, such as refrigerators, freezers and AC units
Any hazardous material placed by the roadside at any time may be removed IMMEDIATELY at cost to the property owner. Inadvertent collection of any material placed on, in, or adjacent to bulk items to be collected will not be the responsibility of Allied Waste or the MBA.

If you have freon-containing appliances, please contact Right Property Management for removal information.

Note that the regular trash pickup schedule calls for pickups on Saturday, Monday and Thursday in July and August; Saturday and Monday in June; and only on Mondays the remainder of the year.

We thank you for your assistance in helping keep our community neat and clean throughout the entire year.
