2008 SPRING CLEANUP/BULK TRASH PICKUP:
This year’s Spring Cleanup will be held on Monday, May 12. Allied Waste will be doing a bulk trash pickup that week. Any loose brush should be placed near the street for the chipper truck by Monday, May 12. Any Spring Cleanup material should be placed near the street on your own property. ANY MATERIAL PLACED AT THE ROADSIDE AFTER THE PICKUPS ARE COMPLETED WILL BE REMOVED AT COST TO THE PROPERTY OWNER, so please make sure that everything is ready to be picked up at the appropriate time. This applies all year around, with exceptions to be made on a case-by-case basis after major storms. Again, please note that any trash that Allied Waste does not take will be removed AT COST TO THE PROPERTY OWNER. For the brush pickup, simply place your material in easy to manage piles by the street, and back from the paved roadway. Note that the chipper cannot handle tree stumps. If you miss the brush pickup, all brush must be cut into 4’ lengths and bundled for removal by Allied Waste. They will take bundled brush at any time of year, and will take pretty much anything you can fit into a trash can (assuming they can lift it). Items that will NOT be collected include:

Note that the regular trash pickup schedule calls for pickups on Saturday, Monday and Thursday in July and August; Saturday and Monday in May, June and September; and only on Mondays the remainder of the year.
