  • 10/17/06 Drainage To Do:
    South side of Street:
  • O) adjust very west end of pipe-uncover end, raise several inches, rebury
  • 1) redo 8 Bridge culvert (east one)-ends are OK; middle too high
    North side of Street:
  • 2) 9 Bridge: replace existing with 1.5 sections 8" pipe; put 4" below Adams (13 Bridge)
  • 3) 11 Bridge: replace existing with 1.5 sections 8" pipe; put 3" below Adams
    ELEV NOTE: existing 13 Bridge (Adams) output to new 5 Bridge inlet is approx .8' (9") drop over 500' (7Br is vacant lot)
  • 4) 13 Bridge: Sharon wants middle filled in (8" older pipe). "Junctions" to be 12" plastic joining sleeves mangled for the purpose and packed in 2" stone. Save the rip rap. INVOICE TO SHARON.
    South side of Street:
  • 5) 12 Bridge: replace existing with 1.5 sections 10"
  • 6) 14 Bridge: replace existing with 1.5 sections 10"
  • 7) 16 Bridge: replace existing with 1.5 sections 8"
    ELEV NOTE: working on it...

    (total pipe used: 4.5 sections 8" & 3 sections 10"; leaving .5 8" & 1 10" & 3 older 8")
    AFTER 10/17/06 To Do:
  • RipRap to be ordered for this and oceanside Short Rd along Sea Colony fence (100+ linear ft closest to Rt 1) (also we need more 2" stone)
  • verify dug out area upstream of each culvert
  • riprap many places (including at very end, and around old pipe on flip side of fence)
  • adjust cover fill as needed-form swales leading to surface drains
  • 2 Bridge: new post/rail fencing AT property line
    Landscape timbers FLUSH w/ ground at driveway edge (as much as practical)
    Driveway "POSTS" moved closer to Property line
    Seed all area ASAP (light cover of pine needles?)
  • Balance of South side of street: lots of pine needles/chips
  • 3 Bridge: driveway landscape timber edging (from MBA storage)-FLUSH w/ surface on MBA property
  • 5 Bridge: straighten ditch by hand (house side); sculpt street edge
  • 7 Bridge: drive backwards over prop side of ditch with blade down to flatten
  • Install new Drainage Covers !! (also need one at back of Addy Rd to replace wooden one)
