After the entrance signs, visitors, guests and members next see the Guard House. It is important that it be both well maintained and functional. It is time now to do necessary changes and upgrades to both the interior and exterior. The work should include but not be limited to the following:

1. Replace both exterior doors. These doors should be part glass and be keyed the same. After installation they should be given two (2) coats of exterior latex paint.

2. The window wall (west interior) should be insulated and be covered with a painted wood paneling. A counter height work top installed with wall mounted storage cabinets under.

3.New ceiling fan and wiring, outlet at desk top, light and any other electrical work as we see fit.

4. Relocation of the hot water heater. General improvements to the toilet and basin area. Storage cabinet. Paint both bath floor and main floor areas. Two coats of quality deck paint will do.

5. The exterior showers and walkway areas really need major work. Trash can area, storage box, private shower and rinse off areas need drainage problem corrected, and walkway and fencing require repair or replacement. An on site inspection and evaluation by our committee is needed here.

  • yellow lines are property lines/rooflines of above ground structures
  • slightly wiggly brown/black-pavement and existing walkway/driveway edges
  • yes, the manhole cover in the street is at 10.48' above sea level
  • despite the fact that the below info comes from Artesian's "as built" plans for MB's water system, we know that the GH water feeds into the structure from the south, not the north as indicated
