    • CONSTRUCTION IN MIDDLESEX BEACH-Allowable Times

    One of the most frequently asked questions about Building in Middlesex Beach relates to the allowable hours and days of construction. As stated in Section 12 of the MBA Restrictive Covenants, these vary according to time of year.
  • Note that landscaping is not considered "construction", but your appreciation in scheduling noisy projects according to the below rules is appreciated by your neighbors.
    • In summary form, the allowable hours for projects which require a permit are:
    Offseason (day after Labor Day through May 31):
  • 8 AM - 4:30 PM
    • Transition (June 1 through 30) No new projects may be started, but exterior construction may continue on existing projects.
  • 8 AM - 4:30 PM
    • Summer (July 1 thru Labor Day): Interior construction only.
  • 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
    • Repair or replacement of components of existing structures (including painting) may be done BETWEEN Labor Day and Memorial Day weekends on Saturdays or Sundays between 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
